The owner of a 2007 Kawasaki ZX-600 contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their motorcycle was stolen from the 1600 block E. Coldspring Lane in the Montebello area of Baltimore City, Maryland.

The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Kawasaki.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Kawasaki with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Kawasaki to the 1600 block Bloomingdale Avenue in the Poplar Grove area of Baltimore City. At that location, officers observed the Kawasaki parked and unoccupied. The undamaged Kawasaki was recovered by police and the owner notified.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2007 Kawasaki ZX-600 in September 2007 by J.T. Motorsports Inc. in Frederick, Maryland.
