The owners of a 2004 Ford F-150 contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home in the 1900 block St. Paul Street in the Midtown area of Baltimore City, Maryland.

The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford F-150.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford F-150 with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Ford to the 200 block E. 21st Street in the Barclay area of Baltimore City. At that location, officers observed the Ford parked and unoccupied.  Officers recovered the undamaged Ford and notified the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2004 Ford F-150 during October 2003 by Koon’s of Annapolis in Annapolis, Maryland.
