The owners of a 2000 Dodge Caravan contacted the Baltimore City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home in the 400 block N. Milton Avenue in Baltimore City, Maryland.

The Baltimore City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge Caravan.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore City PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge Caravan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Dodge to the 1100 block S. Kenwood Avenue in the Canton area of Baltimore City. At that location, detectives observed the Dodge parked and unoccupied. Officers recovered the undamaged Dodge and notified the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2000 Dodge Caravan during July 2000 at Enterprise in White Marsh, Maryland.
