The owners of a Chrysler Sebring contacted the Denver Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in Denver.  An officer verified the owner’s information and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.

A short while later a Deputy with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and an Officer with the Denver PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the Chrysler with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked and located the Sebring undamaged.  It was released on-scene to the happy owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler Sebring in August 2004 at Automotive Avenues in Lakewood, Colorado.
