This Honda Pilot was stolen from the owner’s residence in the 4400 block of 137th Place SE near Snohomish.  The theft occurred sometime over a several month period while the owner was away. It was kept in a locked garage and nobody had permission to use the Honda.

The theft was reported to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Just five minutes after activating the LoJack, the Everett Police Department officers picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda Pilot on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Honda was located in the 2400 block of 55th Street in Everett.  One person, who was known by the owner, was taken into custody for questioning.

The Honda did not appear to be damaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Pilot in November of 2005 at Honda Auto Center of Bellevue, Washington.
