This Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen sometime during the late evening to morning hours from the owner’s apartment complex in Marysville.  When the theft was discovered, it was reported to the Marysville Police Department.  The report was verified and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Kawasaki.

Early the next morning Everett Police officers picked up the silent LoJack signals from the stolen motorcycle on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, they tracked it to an alley west of Wetmore Avenue.  The bike was parked in the back yard of a residence in plain sight.  The officers first observed the bike was still warm and then contacted four individuals in the residence.  All were questioned and one was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant from Colorado.  The investigation is continuing and an arrest of the individual responsible for the theft is anticipated.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Kawasaki ZX600 in September of 2008.
