LoJack® System Helps Antioch Police Department Recover Stolen Suzuki Motorcycle

The owners of a 2012 Suzuki Motorcycle contacted the Walnut Creek Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their driveway in Walnut Creek CA.

Walnut Creek Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Motorcycle.

45 minutes later officers from Antioch PD  picked up the silent LoJack  signals from the stolen motorcycle with the LoJack  Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, officers tracked the stolen motorcycle to a parking lot in Antioch. A Suspect who was attempting to remove parts from the Suzuki was apprehended.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Suzuki GSXR1000 in October 2012.
