The owners of a 2005 Honda CB4 motorcycle contacted the Paterson Police Department to report that their motorcycle had been stolen from a shed in the back yard of the home on East 23rd Street in the City of Paterson.

The Paterson Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2005 Honda CB4 Motorcycle.

A short while later detectives from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Honda with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the detectives tracked the vehicle to a parking lot behind a multifamily residence on 5th Ave in  Paterson. A surveillance was established and a short time later a suspect was arrested when he came out of the house and attempted to drive away with the stolen 2005 Honda CB4 Motorcycle.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2005 Honda CB4 Motorcycle, in July 23, 2007.
