The owner of a 2004 Acura TL contacted the Baltimore Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their home in the 3900 block Colborne Road in Baltimore, Maryland.

Baltimore PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2004 Acura TL.

A short while later officers from the Baltimore PD and flight officers in the Baltimore PD Aviation Unit “Foxtrot”, picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen 2004 Acura TL with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles and helicopter.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers and flight officers tracked the vehicle to the 2900 block Riggs Avenue in Baltimore. At that location, officers observed the vehicle parked and unoccupied. The vehicle was recovered by officers and the owner notified.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2004 Acura TL during February, 2004 at Acura of Valley Stream in Valley Stream, New York.
