LoJack® System Helps Florida Highway Patrol Recover Stolen Honda Motorcycle

The owners of a 2006 Honda VT-600 motorcycle contacted the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office to report that their vehicle was stolen from the parking lot of their apartment complex on Sun Lake Circle in Lake Mary, Florida.

The Seminole County SO verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later,   troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen (make) with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the troopers tracked the vehicle to an apartment complex on Rinehart Road in Lake Mary, Florida.
