In this case, an Infiniti G35 is discovered missing just after midnight on a Monday in Lemon Grove, CA. Thanks to the efforts of local police, with help from the LoJack® system that was installed at purchase, the vehicle was recovered in less than an hour after activation.

On February 3rd, 2014, the Infiniti’s owner contacted the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. Deputies verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the G35, which was installed at Crest Auto Group in Plano, TX.

Within a few minutes, officers from El Cajon PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers located the Infiniti in a residential neighborhood, where it was parked and abandoned. The undamaged G35 was retrieved and soon returned to its relieved owner.
