This Queens, NY resident was very concerned about the safety of his 2009 Suzuki GSX-R750 motorcycle. He secured it to a pole near his residence, but even that precaution did not stop a determined thief. This victim also had the LoJack® system installed when purchasing his bike, so local police were able to track and recover his vehicle that same day- and locate another stolen motorcycle as well.

On October 11th, 2013, the Suzuki’s owner contacted NYPD to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the motorcycle’s information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the GSX-R750, which was installed at Two Wheels Corp. in Mineola, NY.

A short time later, officers assigned to NYPD’s Queens South Auto Larceny Unit, picked up the homing signals from the stolen bike on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol vehicle. The officers tracked the signal to a residential three car garage on 95th Ave., in Richmond Hill, Queens.  Inside the garage, they found the Suzuki and another recently stolen motorcycle. The undamaged GSX-R750 was soon returned to its extremely happy owner.
