This Honda Accord owner got the fright of his life when two men forced him out of his vehicle and drove away in it on September 1st, 2013, in Irvington, NJ. This victim recovered enough to call police right away, so officers were able to activate the LoJack® system in the Accord and return it to him quickly.

After the victim reported the carjacking, Irvington, NJ Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Route 22 Honda in Hillside, NJ.

A short time later, a patrol officer from the South Orange Police picked up the homing signals from the stolen Honda on the LoJack tracking computer
installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer tracked the Accord to a parking lot, where it was abandoned. The undamaged Accord was soon returned to its very happy owner.
