This Texas resident found his Suzuki R600 motorcycle missing from his apartment complex parking space, and immediately informed local police, who activated the LoJack® system installed on the bike and were able to recover it the same day.

On September 11th, 2013 the Suzuki’s owner contacted the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department to report the theft. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the R600, which was installed at Chicago Cycle Inc. in Lincolnwood, IL.

A short while later, the Texas Department of Public Safety flight crew picked up the homing signals from the stolen bike on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol helicopter. The onboard officers contacted ground units from Bexar County Sheriff Department. The Bexar deputies located the bike in an apartment parking lot in the same complex. The Suzuki was soon returned to its relieved owner.
