The victims in our next case had 2 vehicles stolen at once from their Colorado Springs, CO residence- a 2013 Honda Accord equipped with the LoJack® system, and another vehicle not equipped with LoJack. Read on to see the difference LoJack can make when it comes to the recovery of a stolen car.

On July 7th, 2013, the Accord’s owners contacted the Colorado Springs PD to report that both the Honda and another vehicle had been stolen from their home.  Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle’s information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack device concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Capitol City Honda in Olympia, WA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, officers with the Colorado Springs PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen Honda with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. They located the Accord and soon returned it to its very grateful owners. The location of the second, non-LoJack equipped vehicle is still unknown.
