In this case, a motorcycle is stolen in Denver, CO around lunchtime; however, thanks to local police and the LoJack® system, it’s recovered by dinner. On June 28th, 2013, the owners of a Honda CBR600 contacted the Denver Police to report that their motorcycle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the bike’s information into the state and federal crime computers. This automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the CBR600, which was installed at Sun Enterprises in Thornton, CO.

A short while later, officers with the Denver PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen bike with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers tracked the motorcycle to the area of West Mississippi Avenue, where it was found parked and unattended. The Honda was soon returned to its relieved owners.
