Talk about a really creepy situation- the victims in this case slept while their home was being burglarized and keys for two cars as well as the cars themselves were taken. One of the cars, a Lexus LS430 sedan, had the LoJack® system installed, helping police locate it in only 24 minutes after activation.

The LS430’s owners contacted Seattle Police after they woke up and found their home ransacked and 2 vehicles gone. Officers entered the Lexus VIN (vehicle identification number) into the state and federal crime computers. That process automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the LS430, which was installed at Jim Falk Lexus in Beverly Hills, CA

Just a few minutes later, Seattle PD officers received the homing signal transmitting from the Lexus on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol cars.  The officers located the car in a parking lot on First Avenue Northeast.  Three suspects were detained, and two other recently stolen cars were in the same lot. The LS430 was soon returned to its relieved owners.
