It’s never an enjoyable experience having your car stolen, but, as these Renton, WA residents found out, the LoJack® system makes the situation a little easier to handle. Local police were able to recover their Honda Accord in less than one hour after activation.

The Accord’s owners called Renton Police to report their car was taken from their residence. Renton PD entered the VIN (vehicle identification number) into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack device concealed in the Honda, which was installed at Klein Honda in Everett, WA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, Tukwila and Seattle police officers received the homing signal from the Honda on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their cars.  The Tukwila officer located the Honda in the 5100 block of South 113th Street.  It was soon returned to its happy and relieved owner.
