This Marysville, WA resident got the shock of his life when he woke up on May 8th, 2013 and found his Hyundai Elantra gone from where he had parked it the previous evening. However, due to the hard work of the Marysville Police Department and Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force (SNOCAT), with assistance from the LoJack® System, his car was recovered just 28 minutes after activation!

The owner of the Elantra parked the car in in front of his Marysville residence around 8:00 pm on May 7th.  The next morning the car was gone.  The theft was reported to the Marysville PD, who entered the vehicle identification number into their state and federal crime computers. That process automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Hyundai, which was installed at Power Hyundai in Scottsdale, AZ.

A SNOCAT detective received the homing signal transmitting from the stolen Hyundai. He quickly located the car at 79th Avenue NE and 58th Place NE in Marysville.  The undamaged Elantra was soon returned to its relieved owner.
