On June 26, 2012, the owner of a 2008 Suzuki GSX-1300 motorcycle contacted the Prince Georges County Police Department to report that the bike was stolen from 6800 Block Groveton Drive in Clinton, Maryland. Prince Georges County officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the Suzuki

A short while later, officers from the Prince Georges County Police Department picked up the silent Lojack homing signals from the stolen Suzuki on the Police Tracking Computers installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computers, the officers tracked the vehicle to the 7400 block of Taylor Street in the Hyattsville area of Maryland. There, officers located the stolen Suzuki. The motorcycle was recovered by the police and returned to the owner.

The LoJack Vehicle Recovery System was installed in the Suzuki motorcycle in July of 2009 at Atlantic Cycle and Power.
