Dallas Police Recover Stolen Honda Motorcycle, Arrest 2 Suspect, Thanks to LoJack

On June 1, 2012, the owner of a 2007 Honda CBR600 called the Dallas Police Department to report the motorcycle stolen from his home. After verifying the theft, Dallas officers had the Honda’s information entered into the state and federal crime computers, which activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the motorcycle.
A short time later, officers with the Dallas Police Department picked up the Honda’s silent LoJack signal on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers installed in their police vehicles. Following the directional and audible signal on the LoJack Trackers, the officers tracked the motorcycle to the 3200 block of Kennesaw. There, the officers located the bike, parked on the street. A witness pointed to two suspects walking away from the officers and stated that they had just gotten off the stolen motorcycle. The officers quickly apprehended both suspects, who confessed to the officers that they had stolen this motorcycle. The officers arrested both suspects and recovered the motorcycle, which had a damaged ignition switch.
The LoJack Vehicle Recovery System was installed in the 2007 Honda motorcycle on February of 2011 at the Honda Suzuki North dealership.
