The renter of a 2012 Wacker roller contacted the Dallas Police Department to report that this roller was stolen. The renter left this roller on a jobsite overnight and when he returned found it missing.

The Dallas PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Wacker roller.

Fifty six minutes later, officers from the Dallas PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Wacker roller with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen roller to the 4300 block of Oleander Dr and found it in a vacant field. The Wacker had been hidden by tree branches. This roller was recovered in good condition.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Wacker roller in January 2016 via Commercial Sales.
